When you visit At The Coal Face and give us your email address you consent for us to communicate with you by email. Should you no longer want to receive communications with us then please click on the unsubscribe link on the bottom of all emails or email us your request.


Just pick the work boots you’d like to get and add it to your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout. If you have any questions you can contact us via email through the Contact Us page or you can also call us on 02 9417 1292. You can also place your order through the phone and pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), bank or personal Cheque, money order or bank transfer. For more details on payment types, click here.


The only available currency for payment on this site is Australian Dollars. All prices displayed on Coalfaceworkwear.com.au are in Australian Dollars (A$)

All product images are for demonstration purposes only. We do our best to keep product demonstration (images and videos) as accurate as we possibly can however, manufacturers may make updates to the products that may not be represented in our product images instantly.

Color on the images on our site may appear on your screen slightly differently than in real life as they may vary depending on your screen resolution and other individual settings of your display screen.

International Shipping

We ship internationally, freight cost will be calculated upon check out.
Delivery costs internationally do not include any taxes or duties which may be applied by the countries Customs Service, and any such duties or taxes are the responsibility of the delivery recipient.

You will be required to comply with any such revisions and therefore should periodically visit this Legal Statement to review the current Terms and Conditions to which you are bound.

Returns & Refunds

At the Coalface has a 30-day return policy.  You may return or exchange an unused/unworn product by sending it back to us at your own cost, with the invoice included and a note explaining what you would like (refund/exchange etc)

To complete your return please follow the following steps:
Have your order number handy and phone us on 02 9417 1292 and advise if you would like a return or and exchange.
1. Ensure your item for return is in their original box which is packed back into a satchel to protect the box and item on its return
2. Drop the parcel off to your nearest Australia Post office
3. Keep an eye on your e-mails for return updates

Please ensure your item for return is in their original box or be sure that the original tags on the clothing have not been removed from your clothing. Your return will also only be accepted if you place your return back into the re-usable satchel your item arrived in or any packaging, for example, wrapping paper or newspaper. Ensure that your return label is then placed onto the packaging and not directly onto the shoebox. This is an important step as we need to re-sell the style you are returning. If you do not complete this step, we are unable to accept and process your return.

International returns (excluding NZ):
All postage and handling costs will be incurred by the customer. If you return your item for a change of size, you must pay for the re-postage of your new item. If you are returning your item for a refund, please know you will be refunded the cost of your item only, excluding any postage originally paid.

All of the footwear we sell is new to stock and covered by the manufactures 6-month warranty. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing to make a claim for a quality issue please follow these steps;

1. Check your item is still within its warranty time frame of 6 months.
2. Contact our warranty department via email: info@coalfaceworkwear.com.au with your order number, a description and 2 clear images of the fault. If any further information or images are required, we will let you know via email reply.
3. We will confirm we have received your email and advise you of the outcome. In some cases, we will forward the images onto the manufacturer for their advice.

If the manufacturer agrees that your boot contains a manufacturing fault, we will issue you with a new pair. In some cases, the boot will be required to be returned for further inspection before a decision can be made. Our returns department will advise you if this is required.

To return a pair under a comfort guarantee, please follow the following steps. Please note, your item will need to be returned at your own cost.

1) The brand’s that offer a 30-day comfort guarantee are Oliver, Blundstone and Steel Blue.
2) Your purchase must be returned within 30 days from the date on receipt
3) Please include your receipt and a note explaining the discomfort.

4) Return the package to the following address at your own cost
