Choosing between the brands in our non-safety elastic sided boots range

Blundstone covers both ends of this category. The core range (585, 600, 610, 700, 659, 705) are practical elastic-sided boots built for all-day wear — the 633 and 600 are the ones most people know. Blundstone Lifestyle is the dressier side of Blundstone brand: the 2446 and 587 are Chelsea boots, the 1306 a V-cut dress boot, and the 2340 and 1911 lean casual in nubuck and suede.

Steel Blue's Hobart (310101) brings the same brand recognised for safety footwear into a non-safety slip-on, if you want that build without the toe cap. Redback's UBIB Bobcat is the soft-toe version of the same Bobcat shape we cover on our Redback boots page — worth comparing if you're deciding between brands on that exact style.

Rossi's 607 Booma and Mongrel's K9 riding boots (K92077, 805070, K92030) are both cut closer to a riding boot than a standard work boot taller shaft, pull-on fit suited to those wanting that Chelsea style specifically rather than a standard ankle boot.

For people with wider feet including sizes 6E, we suggest checking out our Wide Load range, which specifically makes a range of safety boots and non-safety boots built for wider feet with sizes up to 16AU/UK.
