At Coalface Workwear & Safety, we’re proud to supply Australians — not just tradies — with quality workwear, lifestyle clothing, PPE, safety boots, and custom branding solutions.
In 2017, father-and-daughter team Maurice and Alessandra took a leap of faith. They stepped into a tiny local shop with a big dream: to build a place where tradies, businesses, and communities could find reliable gear, genuine service, and honest advice. What started as a small shopfront has since grown into a thriving business, proudly serving customers both in-store and online.
Today, Coalface offers one of the region’s widest ranges of workwear, PPE, safety boots, lifestyle clothing, and custom branding solutions. But while the shelves have grown, the heart of the business has never changed. From day one, Maurice and Alessandra’s focus has been simple — treat every customer like family and make sure they walk away with the right gear for the job.
Over the years, the Coalface team has earned a reputation for exceptional service and a down-to-earth approach. Customers know they’ll get products that deliver on safety, comfort, and durability — but just as importantly, they’ll get advice they can trust. That combination of quality and care has turned first-time shoppers into lifelong customers.
Though not tradies themselves, Maurice and Alessandra have spent years learning what matters most on site and on the job. They’ve listened to countless stories from their customers, taken feedback on board, and handpicked products that meet the demands of real working Australians.
At Coalface Workwear & Safety, the mission is clear: help Aussies work hard, work safe, and look the part — every single day.
We’ve been in the workwear game for over 8 years, and we know how important it is to have gear you can rely on. From tough boots to everyday workwear and PPE, we’re here to make sure tradies are comfortable, protected, and ready for the job. Our motto is simple: Work Hard. Work Safe. — and we’re proud to help you do both.
That’s why we are here to help.”
