Are Redback Boots Australian made?

Redback has made its boots in Sydney since the brand was established in 1989, drawing on family bootmaking that dates back to the 1920s.

What is the difference between the steel toe and composite toe Redbacks?

Both give you a protective toe cap. The composite toe in the Lynx contains no metal, so it is lighter and will not set off airport or rail screening. The steel-toe Bobcat is the more economical option when screening is not a factor.

Which Redback styles have no safety toe?

The Bobcat soft toe, Whistler, Nevada, Cobar and Everest are all non-safety. They suit farm work, driving, warehousing and general wear where a toe cap is not required.

Do Redback boots need breaking in?

Less than most. The wedge sole styles are flexible from the start, and the leather moulds to the foot over the first few weeks rather than fighting it.

Are there women’s Redback boots?

Redback does not make a women’s-specific boot. Sizing runs on one scale starting at AU/UK 2, so the smaller sizes suit a lot of women. If you want a boot shaped for a woman’s foot, the women’s slip on safety boots range at At The Coalface Workwear and Safety provides alternative options.

Returns & exchanges

Return requests for eligible items must be lodged within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unworn, unused and unwashed, with their original tags and packaging, and in saleable condition. Try footwear indoors on carpet and keep the original shoe box.

Exclusions apply, including clearance and final-sale items, underwear, swimwear, PPE, safety eyewear, respiratory products, custom-branded items and gift cards. Change-of-mind return postage and exchange charges may apply.
